Win 2 Free Nights at a Country Inn & Suites – You Choose Where

Tuesday, November 13th, 2012

I was originally going to write this post when I got back from Mexico.

I was going to tell you how good it was to get away for a while and how excited I was to be able to offer you the same chance.

Then my dad got sick, I hopped on a Greyhound, and I ended up having to spend two weeks away from my family. Getting away was suddenly much less appealing.

Of course, whenever we’re away from one place, we’re also at another. While I was away from my husband and kids, I was at my step dad’s bedside and then in my mother’s home. I was visiting my in-laws and loving up on my nieces and nephews. I was having lunch and dinner with friends I’ve known since I was 12. As much as I hated being away, I made the most of my time there.

And that’s what travel is about in the real world.

It’s being there while you’re away.

It’s learning to appreciate where you are, where you’ve been, and where you’re going all at the same time.

It’s discovering new restaurants and beaches, and having your favorite comfort foods with old friends.

It’s going on vacation and going home.

Travel is not always glamorous, but it is a privilege and an opportunity. Every single time.

And on that note, I am thrilled to offer you the chance to do a little real world traveling of your own.

Through November 30th, Country Inn & Suites is running a “Free Night Fall” promotion. Basically, if you stay at one of their North American properties before November 29,2012, you get a free night to use before February 15, 2013. YAY for discounted travel! (You can get the full scoop on the promotion here.)

Here’s the really exciting part:

I get to give away two 2-night stays at any North American Country Inn & Suites property to one of you happy people.

YAY for FREE travel!!

How to win two free nights at any Country Inn & Suites in North America
