    It’ll just be me, my husband and mother gathered together for Thanksgiving this year, so we’ve decided to “go out” for dinner for the first time ever. It’s kinda depressing if I allow myself to dwell on it.

    One the plus side, since we won’t be slaving over a hot turkey in the kitchen, Mom and I might actually be able to sit and watch the entire Macy’s parade! :)

    I am technically an only child
    but I have 14 ‘siblings’ [2 half brothers from my mom, 2 half brothers and 3 half sisters from my dad, 2 step siblings, and 5 inlaw siblings]
    I am fluent in French and plan to teach it to my future children.
    I have flipflops in every color. All from Old Navy because they are cheap and hold up.
    I have rainboots but never wear them.
    and for some reason I have Uggs, but I live in Florida.. so there’s no point in having Ugg’s.
    I could eat Chickfila and Whataburger every day and be fine. I only know that because I’ve done it for a week straight.
    I am more open online than I am in real life.

    I still beleive in magic, halloweentown, and what happens in Disney movies can happen in real life. There’s nothing wrong with that.

    I too hate recapping, and frequently respond with “fine” knowing that the person on the other end is likely to become agitated and annoyed that I did not actually answer their question. However, as the saying goes “paybacks are a bitch” and generally speaking they annoyed and or aggrivated me when they asked a mundane question like “how was your day?” which makes me feel like I’m Timmy on the TV show Lassie.
